What makes our garden grow? Our local Girl Scout troop will again tend to the herb garden at the William Miller House in spring 2018, their third year of caring for it. They resurrected it so beautifully from the older members of their troop who installed it many years ago. We are so proud of their efforts and dedication!
Helping to deliver letters to Santa… Postman Pete and his assistants help to bring in the spirit of the season with song, cider, cookies, and good cheer! Thanks, Postman Pete! For the full photo collection, access the album here:

To help celebrate the nostalgia of the season: our new display in The Port Jefferson library, TO GRANDMOTHER’S HOUSE WE GO. We share the locked show case with the Port Jeff Historical Society, six months each. Our occupancy has run from Sept. to Feb., sharing items of interest from the past.
Thank you to the Suffolk Federal Credit Union for their generous donation toward our Barn project, to manager Gregory Bryan, and to Society trustee Therese O’Connor for accepting the check on our behalf! #SuffolkFederalCU
