Guest Speaker:  Colette Gilbert, Educator & Writer of historic topics

Colonists learned how to use native Long Island plants from the Native people and by trial and error.  Also some of the plants they brought with them and are now considered invasive species 

 

Refreshments will be served under a canopy in the backyard of the William Miller House
